“Usually there can only be one winner of a board game, so everyone is out for themselves. In Co-opoly everything must be done together, for each other.”

Recently, the Mime Troupe Collective, a well-established performance group in San Francisco, posted on Facebook that Co-opoly is “our new favorite board game!” The Mime troupe used Co-opoly during a workshop on making our society more democratic. We asked for some brief thoughts from participants who played Co-opoly about their experience. Here are some of the wonderful responses:

“Coopoly gave insight of what it means to be in a cooperative.”

“Usually there can only be one winner of a board game, so everyone is out for themselves. In Co-opoly everything must be done together, for each other.”

“Coopoly is an informative and engaging game that challenges players to work together to accomplish community goals.”

“I would love to see Coopoly in more schools and leadership workshops.”

“I liked being part of a team instead of competing.”

“It was exciting to be part of a generous team that was supportive of each other.”

“Coopoly forces lots of decisions that are similar to real-life decisions for coops.”

Great stuff! It’s so exciting to hear this feedback from people who’ve experienced the game. If you have any testimonials, please send them along to our e-mail.
