Co-opoly is back!
Co-opoly, The Game of Cooperatives is back and better than before! TESA Collective recently announced the triumphant return of the collaborative, strategic game that teaches the practical skills needed to run a co-op. Test your business acumen and work as a team to create a thriving cooperative.
First launched in 2011, Co-opoly quickly became one of TESA’s most popular products for family fun and educational purposes. Since then, early customers like US-based SEIU adopted the game in their organizational training and non-profit groups like the Canadian Co-operative Association use Co-opoly to promote team building and collective problem-solving. Co-opoly has been played by tens of thousands in over 20 countries around the world.
In Co-opoly, to survive as individuals and to strive for the success of their co-op, players make tough choices regarding big and small challenges while putting their teamwork abilities to the test. Just like in the real world, in Co-opoly, the cards might be stacked in your favor or against you – making it easier or harder to win.
What are co-ops anyways?
Co-ops are democratically controlled and managed organizations with the tenets of one member, one share and one vote for everyone. It is a horizontal model built on equality, consensus and social enterprise. TESA Collective and fair food producer Equal Exchange are some of the thousands of organizations around the globe which are organized as cooperatives. Co-opoly is ethically produced and colorfully printed completely by other worker co-ops, entirely in the USA on recycled and sustainable materials.
